The
programme of GCB 2021 is online now. From Monday until Wednesay noon, it offers 17 contributed and 2 industry talks covering current bioinformatics research in diverse sessions on Machine Learning, Image analysis, Genes & Metabolites, Networks & Medicine, and Microbes & Pathogens.
Keynotes will be given by Malia Gehan (Danforth Plant Science Center, St. Louis, USA), Carole Goble (The University of Manchester, UK), Jens Meiler (Leipzig University, Germany), Uwe Ohler (Max Delbrueck Center Berlin, Germany) und Thomas Rattei (University of Vienna, Austria).
The scientific programme is completed by more than 50 posters presented in two poster sessions, a presentation by the winner of the FaBI dissertation award, and plenty of opportunities for discussions and networking.
On Wednesday afternoon and Thursday, GCB 2021 hosts eight hands-on expert workshops on current topics including Metabolics, (Meta-)Proteomics, Cell Segmentation and Protein Structures, and introducing versatile methods and libraries for current bioinformatics research.
Registration for GCB 2021 including workshops is possible until the beginning of the conference on September 6, 2021.
